We Were Here Tomorrow Motion Sickness: Display Tips

Quick answer

On PC, try windowed mode with a smaller window, adjust brightness to a comfortable level and keep sessions short. Change one setting at a time; there is no single FOV value that suits every player.

Quick answer

The changing gravity and perspective in We Were Here Tomorrow can make some players uncomfortable. Start with a shorter session and stop for a break when the movement feels unpleasant.

PC display adjustments to try

  • Switch to windowed mode and use a smaller game window.
  • Try a lower screen brightness if the current brightness feels harsh.
  • If you adjust FOV, choose it for your own comfort rather than copying a fixed number.

Change one setting at a time and compare the same short stretch of movement, so you can tell which adjustment helps. These are comfort experiments, not a guaranteed fix.

FOV is not a universal preset

The PC game has an adjustable FOV. A value used by one player is not a developer-recommended setting for everyone. Avoid stacking several large changes at once.

Separate discomfort from a movement bug

If your character is visibly shaking or stuck against the red magnetic floor, also check the Gravitonics bug guide. Fixing a specific movement fault and choosing comfortable display settings are separate tasks.

The windowed-mode suggestions here apply to PC. Do not expect a console’s menu to contain identical options.
